Both bins take a similar footprint on a driveway. The real difference is the tonnage included: 0.5 tonnes in the 2m³ against 0.75 tonnes in the 3m³. On a light load that gap changes nothing. On a dense load it changes the bill, because anything over the allowance is charged by the tonne.
So the question is not “how big is the pile”. It is “how heavy is the pile”.

The tiles come off the walls and the floor, and tile is dense. The vanity, the shower base, the old cast iron or steel bath, the plasterboard behind the tiles, the timber framing if it is coming out too. There is not much of it by volume. It is all weight.
That load fits in a 2m³ with room to spare and can still go over the tonnage. The 3m³ is the right call, and if there is a floor screed or a rendered wall coming off as well, book it as builders and mixed heavy rather than general waste, because the rubble changes what the tip charges.
